Shaping the future through youth power & civic education.
Because voting is not just a right β it's our power.
A youth-centric civic and educational empowerment initiative founded by Samuel Kaley Nzidee. We campaign against youth political apathy by promoting civic participation, voter registration, and voter education on university campuses across Nigeria.
Shaping the future through youth power & civic education. Because voting is not just a right β it's our power. Building a New Nigeria, one step at a time.
A Nigeria where every young person is politically aware, actively participates in governance, and holds the tools to demand accountability from leadership.
We go campus to campus, enlightening and sensitizing youths across the Niger Delta from all major universities about the power of their voter's card.
We contribute to human development by awarding scholarships and distributing electronic gadgets β iPads and laptops β to support academic excellence.
"Many people complain about Nigeria. Many people criticize leadership. Many people express frustration. But here's the uncomfortable question β how many of us actually participate in the process that determines leadership?" β Samuel Kaley Nzidee, Founder
My name is Samuel Kaley Nzidee, the founder and convener of Project New Nigeria.
This initiative is about stepping into the gap that government alone cannot fill. We are going across the universities in the Niger Delta, educating students on the importance of voting and the power they have when they come together as a collective with their voter's card.
This is their power to make their lives better and demand better for themselves. We are also demanding a seat at the table for young people as members of a country whose population is dominated by youths into the foreseeable future.
We are empowering students by awarding 200 scholarships in every university we visit, alongside iPads and laptops to support their academic journey. This is our practical support towards achieving a New Nigeria.
how many of us actually participate in the process that determines leadership?
